sustainability
sustainability
I commit us to four dimensions of sustainability. If you have some time for reading, we have a brief definition here; it's nice to learn about it.
1] Human Sustainability
Human sustainability means maintaining human capital. Human capital is a private good of individuals, not among individuals or societies. Health, education, skills, knowledge, leadership, and access to services constitute human capital.
Knowledge frees us for opportunities and the open mind of our dreams; no one takes this away from you.
The greatest of minorities is the individual, you, me, each one, with their own choices. Freedom is the greatest good we can have in life, and your best version is the way to conquer it.
2] Social Sustainability
Social sustainability means maintaining social capital. Social capital is investments and services that create the basic structure for society. It reduces the cost of working together and facilitates cooperation: trust reduces transaction costs.
Community cohesion for mutual benefit, connection between groups of people, reciprocity, tolerance, compassion, patience, tolerance, companionship, love, commonly accepted standards of honesty, discipline, and ethics.
Shared values make up the part of social capital least subject to rigorous measurement, but essential for social sustainability.
3] Economic Sustainability
Economic capital must be maintained. The widely accepted definition of economic sustainability is the maintenance of capital or keeping capital intact. Thus, Hicks' definition of income—the amount one can consume during a period and still be well-off at the end of the period—may define economic sustainability.
My involvement in this project is entirely voluntary, with great pleasure, fulfilling my life's mission.
4] Environmental Sustainability
Although environmental sustainability (ES) is necessary for humans and has originated because of social concerns, ES itself seeks to improve human well-being by protecting natural capital (NC).
In contrast to economic capital, NC comprises water, land, air, minerals, and ecosystem services; therefore, much is converted into manufactured or economic capital. Humanity must learn to live within the limitations of the biophysical environment.
Environmental sustainability means that natural capital must be maintained. There are no substitutes for most environmental services, and there is much irreversibility if they are damaged.
Using digital media, video, and audio, we can put brilliant and dedicated people like us in front of you, so you can reach your best version through knowledge. All of this, without you and the guest needing to travel, eliminating all costs and environmental impact of transportation, valuing your time, and you decide when, where, and how to watch the episode.
